韓國保健福祉部今天通報，韓國再增十三例中東呼吸症候群（MERS）確診案例，確診患者破百，達到一百零三人，死亡者再增兩人，為九人，而昨日出現的首名孕婦患者，複檢結果變成陰性，目前正進行第三次檢驗。
截至目前為止，MERS疫情主要發生在平澤聖母醫院、三星首爾醫院、建陽大學醫院等醫療機構內，大多為患者、醫務人員及訪客感染病毒。從各家醫院的感染者人數來看，三星首爾醫院最多有四十七人，平澤聖母醫院三十六人，大田建陽大學醫院九人，大田大青醫院八人。此外，首爾峨山醫院、汝矣島聖母醫院等大型醫院也各出現了一名確診患者。
另外，韓國政府也宣布，將對首爾、京畿道、大田市、牙山市的肺炎患者進行檢驗，確認是否感染MERS病毒。
